Johann Reger

A German printer active in Ulm during the late 15th Century. Reger was commissioned by Justus de Albano of Venice to print a re-issue of Leinhart Holl’s ‘Geographia’ of 1482. de Albano had purchased Holl’s printing house, and contents, after Holl’s bankruptcy in 1484, and two years later Reger produced his re-issue of the great Ptolemaic work.
