Launched in 2022, Oculi Mundi presents the objects from The Sunderland Collection, rich webpages about specific maps and topics, insightful stories and useful references, and innovative online exhibitions - such as the one you are exploring right now.
The website also showcases The Sunderland Collection Art Programme and serves an archive for our conferences and events. It is also the home of the award winning podcast WHAT’S YOUR MAP?.
Oculi Mundi has been designed to iterate and expand; as The Sunderland Collection evolves, so does its digital home.
